Edward Woodford

The 1901 census shows Edward’s family living in a cottage in West Haddon. The family consisted of his father Joseph, born in West Haddon, aged 50, working as a general labourer, his wife Louisa, aged 48, born in Little Billing, working as a corset maker and their children Amy P, Katherine and Edward J aged 9 (baptised May 1892).
The 1911 census shows only Joseph and Louisa at home. I was unable to find Edward John anywhere in 1911.
The Northampton Mercury Roll of Honour for West Haddon, January 1915 shows him as a Private with the Royal Field Artillery in India. I was unable to find military records to qualify this.
He died aged 83 in September, 1975 (entry Northampton 7 1917).
