Harry Randall

Randall Harry

Killed In Action

Military records for those killed in action show that Harry Randall was born in Melton Mowbray about 1889.   There is no trace of him in West Haddon Parish Records nor does any census record link him to West Haddon.

He served with the King’s Royal Rifles 10th Battalion as a Rifleman – Service Number R/128.   He was killed in action on the France and Flanders Field, Western Europe Theatre, aged 26, on 7/12/1915.

He is buried in the cemetery Rue du Bois Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix.

He joined the military in Rugby.   Nothing could be found that linked him to West Haddon.
